Chicken Stroganoff

Make it a meal! Serve with mixed vegetables and a tall glass of milk

Yield: Serves 4

Preparation Time: 5 minutes; Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

1-1/2 lbs. chicken tenders, cut into thirds
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 Tablespoon paprika
1/2 Tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Noodles, rice or pasta

Directions:

Saute chicken in butter or margarine on medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chopped green onions and continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add mushroom soup and milk, stirring until sauce is smooth.

Reduce heat to low; add paprika and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate leftovers.
